Your Migraines Are NOT In Your Head!

We all know someone who has one. They are as mysterious as they are annoying.  Doctors have been scrambling to figure out the root cause of migraines for decades. Nearly 1 in 4 U.S. households includes someone with a migraines, and over $36 Billion dollars is spent each year to attempt to treat and cure migraines with no success.

Facts about
 Migraines

If we can cure Small Pox, What’s so mysterious about migraines?

The confusion arises when the doctor is narrow-minded. The head hurts we look at the head and brain for the problems.  If this consistently proves to fail as a tactic, this is not a solution.
So, you can see that the money and effort that is put into fixing the problem is simply being wasted on drugs, surgeries, and more drugs.
And this brings me to my point, instead of taking more pills; find out what’s causing it first. Let’s look at the whole body and see what’s changed, find out how your habits and your environment have created this issue, and more importantly, how to stop the pain altogether.
Let’s look outside the box!
Your headaches can be referred from other parts of the body.

#1: Gallbladder ( a small gland behind the liver that produces Bile). Why you ask? The gallbladder, if congested can irritate a little nerve called the Phrenic nerve. This nerve under your right rib cage travels up to the right side of your neck.  The entire right side of your neck and head can be in pain from a congested gallbladder. In Chinese Medicine, the gallbladder meridian travels up into your head around your temples. Acupuncturists have known for years that headaches can stem from the gallbladder.

#2: Pinch Nerve. The nerves in your neck, when pinched can travel up into your head. Chiropractors specialize in adjusting and realigning the neck vertebras reducing pain and headaches.

#3: Sinus. Sinus congestion will put pressure on your face and head. This is usually stemming from an impacted mucous filled sinus.

#4: Hormonal. When a female goes through her period each month, there can be massive changes in hormones, especially estrogen. This hormone creates a vasoconstriction (tightening) of the arteries in the head if there is too much estrogen in the body.

#5: Head Injuries. Believe it or not, headaches or migraines only get triggered from head injuries a small percentage of the time. Old head injuries can cause migraines years later. Apparently, head trauma tends to stay with you.

So, from here we have a direction in which to seek to solve this issue and understand it as well. So, the secret to solving headaches is finding which cause it is. Medically speaking, drugs are the only answer. However, alternative medicine can provide natural help. Don’t let the doctors convince you that it’s a curse that you’ll have to live with or that drugs are the only answer.
